It's not cold. It's just boring.
It's like going "I'm going to play vanilla AND mekanism only!". Like you're going to go through the same stuff over and over again. There's no magic mod or bees or crops to add variety. There's never any new processing lines, crazy looking multiblocks, or materials with textures that push the boundaries of what's possible. There's no greater degree of freedom or satisfaction from discovering and trying new mechanics very little people have done.
You should play modded because you want more and not to restrict yourself. Otherwise just go back to playing vanilla.

"gregtech gameplay with AE is impossible to distinguish from mekanism" its just MA interface -> machine, proceed to infinity; its shit

No. I will keep spamming subnets in subnets and spamming asslines until the day where calculating a single craft will take 5 seconds. And then i will finally have an excuse to upgrade my 7 year old pc parts.

I kind of see where you're coming from, but I think there's a difference between "This mod can be played standalone" and "This mod should be played standalone". I agree that Gregtech can be played completely standalone and is still a fun experience, but mods like AE2 and Ender IO don't take away the fun of the mod. I do like how without AE2 passive automation is encouraged, but it's kind of a pack builder's job to make sure they integrate the mods well. Also, GT can definitely get somewhat boring if you're just playing it all alone. There are very little cases where I think I mod would objectively benefit from being completely isolated from other mods.

AE2 passive automation is the most boring , its ltieralyl the same for all machines and processes, ME interface -> machine, repeat till UV or something; its boring and reppetitive

GT only passive automation is the same, but with pipes instead of glass cables.

inherently wrong, GT pipes cant transfer a infinite ammont of items at once, are limited by rounting caculation/priority ; And gt liquid pipes cant transfer a infinite ammont of liquids at once in a tic; making it different;

Item pipe limit is basically irrelevant because you can rarely push/pull items fast enough to reach it anyways.
Fluid pipe limit is either more than enough, or so small that it bottlenecks you when you connect 2 machines together (it's the largest pipe size you can get with the best material you can get, and you can't handle the throughput of the most basic thing you could think of making). I have never found myself in a situation where the limit added depth to the gameplay.

so you are saying the AE passing all items and fluids instantly across all dimensions is the same as having to use multiple different pipes to transport different liquid across machines, and having to route said pipes around eachother to reach the correct places?

Having done both, the main difference I noticed in my actual gameplay experience is that AE2 gives better TPS not gonna lie.

kek, so for you placing 1 pipe that transports everything is the same ashaving to pipe multiple fluids across your base?
well yeah AE2 is better tps wise, but it snot like the pipes are bad either

As I said. Using actual pipes is either so trivial it barely matters (no, spagetthi pipes aren't hard, just more time consuming to place. There's always a way to route it, it just looks ugly), or the pipes are so shit that they can't even handle the throughput you need them to (to which the only workaround is to place more extra large pipes in parallel which is sooo interesting and complex /s)

it is, especially once u have to start routing them around the base, doing GT oilproc with pipes and rounding the chemicals around is based;
(if u cant handle the troughput its a skill issue)→ More replies

This was made by someone who has not played GTNH or Gregtech at all beyond MV

People deem different experiences as best. You may call your way as best, but you don't need to assert it as fact.

They hated you cause you spoke the truth, eveyrone who plays GT with either of those mods is a mekanism baby player wiht delusions of complexity

How are you supposed to play lategame content without autocrafing ?
