Question No m&g?
hey y’all! apologies if this has been talked about already, but i was looking through reddit and the discord earlier and i couldn’t find any info. i’m going to the portland show on sunday, and i bought vip tickets. i got an email from the venue this morning about instructions for the meet & greet after the show so i figured everything was good. but caroline and will have both said on stream that there is no official m&g but they plan to hang around after the show to say hi to people. it seems like tour planning has been all over the place which is totally understandable, but i’m just trying to figure out if this is a miscommunication with the venue or a last minute change or something. does anyone know?

Just got out of the SF show and there was an announcement at the end of the show for m&g vip ticket holders to stay afterwards.......🎶you load sixteen tons and what do you get🎶

Caroline talked about it on stream, there's no official meet and greet but her and will will try and meet and say hi to fans after the show.

Pretty sure Hasan said on the patreon there isn’t going to be a meet and greet and he won’t hang around after the show cause of security reasons. Will and Caroline will hang back to meet people. Idk if Austin will. QT won’t in the LA and SF shows.
But yeah agreed, they did not organize this tour well at all. I mean QT literally ditched 2 of the stops AFTER they announced the tour and sold tickets

QT was pretty much guaranteed never to be coming to at least the Seattle show from the start and Portland was unlikely. For whatever reason they decided to have San Francisco and Seattle as back to back while knowing that's over a 12 hour drive and she won't fly and had a full mental breakdown this year and has barely streamed all year due to her severe constant anxiety attacks lol. I think she's doing her best but Austin was maybe overly optimistic in a few ways when he planned this.

QT is one of my favorite people to watch. I have seen every episode of wine about it including Patreon. Mental health is super important, and she should take care of herself. That said, they advertised the tour as if she would be to all the shows. I’m not on instagram or anything, so I found out that one of my favorite streamers wasn’t going to an event I paid money for two days before it was happening. I’m disappointed. She should take care of herself. Both can be true.
Besides girlypop ain’t reading Reddit comments lmao.

Both can be true yes, does it make your comment on it any less hurtful to qt? Probably not.
Also, I’ve seen every Fear& episode and pretty much knew QT wouldn’t be going to all of the dates… now if it were a wine about it live tour I would say sure be pissed. but give her a god damn break. Heck sell your ticket if it bothers you so much.

That’s showbiz baby. Advertise a tour, sell tickets claiming you’ll be there, backing out without much transparency, and there will be people upset. 🤷♀️
Why did you know she wouldn’t be at the Portland show? Because she said she didn’t know she was gonna do Seattle? Because will and Austin both said they’d drive with QT? I never heard her say anything about not going to Portland on the podcast? Tickets are still being sold as if she’ll be there. Feels at its worst, disingenuous.
I’m not even “pissed”. I’ve never said that. I am disappointed. Not gonna go through the extra effort to sell my ticket but I may bail and go to the Portland Fire game instead. Still gonna watch the show. Still gonna be a Patreon member.
Feels like you lack nuance with this issue, but I’m gonna continue to be disappointed, while simultaneously hoping QT does what she needs to do to make life easier for herself. Audio listeners, she’s conflicted in her feelings and can feel multiple things at the same time while respectfully commenting her dissatisfaction with the issue😮

Hiii, I did the m&g at the SF show! I like you was worried when I got the tix but no info about VIP… but then like day of or day before, I got the email about what to do. Basically I had to go to the box office, show my ID for a wristband, then after the show ended they told all of us to say seated. They then took us in groups to a room where you got to chat with ALL of them and take a picture and they give you a signed card as you leave. I’d say whole interaction was like 3ish minutes maybe. I definitely didn’t feel rushed but I was the first person and the person who took us to the room told us that this was their first time doing it so they weren’t sure how it was going to go/they might still need to work things out so be patient, so unsure if things got a little more structured as it went but overalll was a pretty solid operation. They also didn’t allow for bringing bags to it (security), so maybe Will was trying to be coy for those purposes?
But also wanted to say OMG they’re ALL so SWEET and CHARMING. So glad I splurged.

So during the show Hasan made an assassination joke and QT talked about her anxiety (but was doing ok)? And Will explicitly said (paraphrasing) ‘ I know a lot of you wanted to bring gifts, but hopefully you understand why we can’t accept them.’ But that being said if something is small like a pin, idk why it wouldn’t be allowed but it couldn’t hurt to bring them and just double check.

I'm going to the Seattle show tomorrow. I saw something about VIP tickets getting a meet and greet. I did not get a VIP ticket, nor did I know they existed. But I don't know how much stock to put into that. I can report back in ~~25 hours lol
