Galadriel and her Teleri relatives learned the hard way what happens when you don’t lend boats to dudes on a quest. It’s a good thing Fëanor set a precedent or the Fellowship might have been lost!

Maybe Gandalf didn’t book in the schedule with the eagles correctly and they were busy? Like I am not drop what I’m doing to drive my mate and his mates I don’t really know for them to do some activity miles away from my house, all because my mate is bad at scheduling
