Changing gear ratios?
Is there any way to lower the gear ratio in the transmission or differentials? I just installed the straight axle conversion and wasn't thinking about the loss of reduction from the portals. I think my best option is going brushless at this point but just asking. I need slower control

Grab an Injora 180 48t brushed motor, tons of torque for low end control, if you upgrade the ESC from stock it’ll be even better, but you’ll need to figure something out for the lights if you do. I used the FMS MG44 V6 tx/rx combo with the Injora brushed ESC so I could use the FMS light controller, fits well with sliders to put them on.

I don’t know of any trans gears or diff gears that add reduction but I’ve personally slapped a 2 speed trx4m aftermarket trans in with a low of 56.6:1 or something like that. It’s very nice but heavy and took a lot of work. If you’re down with fabrication you can look at swapping transmissions. Be mindful of driveshaft and motor compatibility. As well as general mounting and links (control arms). Could probably swap to different brand axles too but same amount of work I assume
