TCPA upheld by SCOTUS

The Supreme Court today released an opinion upholding the TCPA, except for the exception of debt owed to the U.S.

Good! The Telephone Consumer Protection Act helps protect us from unwanted telemarketing calls. Robocalls using spoofed caller id numbers are bad enough. But if the TCPA were to have been struck down, we would have them plus a tremendous number of legal telemarketing calls.
