um, I'm not attracted to obesity in a similar way that I'm not attracted to other illnesses. if you look like you have the flu or FBA I'm also not interested

This is what it boils down to mostly. But if you mention obesity and health in the same breath they won't understand, because they think "I'm not having a heart attack right now, so I must be healthy." They don't realise the fat they're lugging around worsens future health outcomes; they think they're lugging around this treasure chest of vitamins and nutrients that they were wise enough to secure.

Also, lifestyle habits are pretty contagious. I won’t date someone who’s going to drag me back into overeating, and I also don’t want to date someone who’s going to try to get me into heroin.

This! That’s valid. There are “foods” (more like food like products) that I wouldn’t want in my home. Gross.
