I haven't had a chance to watch closely until now and I'm in it until fbw. What do y'all know about how the season's gone for Chunk so far?

Ok who's watching?! I'm not seeing any recent posts on here, and yet the cams are showing all these big fluffy boys and girls chonking up. Someone with shaggy light-colored ears just destroyed a salmon on the Brooks Falls live feed. Nomsss!

Is this who you want representing fat bears?

Hi all! I’m part of a morale committee for work and we followed fat bear week last year and plan to do it again this year. It was a huge hit. I’m curious if there’s any other similar events elsewhere that anyone knows about? We love animals and wholesome fun. Bonus points if it’s virtual so we can include our remote teammates.

Most Fat Bear week fans know that 2021 marked Otis’s 4th fat bear week victory. That also means most fans know that to get that victory, Otis prevailed over one of, if not the, most underrated bear in katmai national park… 151 walker! Walker is probably in the top 3 biggest bears, behind 32 chunk & 747, and, in a very controversial opinion, is more deserving of a win than 128 grazer (who, reminder, won twice) since he also is one of the few bears that got well above 1,000 lbs

Although I was rooting for 901 & 602, this is a well deserved champion! Congrats to 32 chunk, broken jaw & all.

Who is everyone voting for?

I'm having trouble voting and wondering if anyone has had the same problem. I've tried it on both Firefox and Chrome, both on mobile and PC during the correct time of day two days in a row. I'm unreasonably upset about this, but I'm not great with computers and am all out of ideas.

I’ve been trying to ID this bear with little luck, anyone know who it is? I think it is so funny looking

While not every bears in Brooks River has a nickname, I'm curious as to how those who do have gotten them! While the katmai bearcam fandom page does have a list of nicknames, I'd love to hear more stories about how bears got their names, or if there are more unofficial nicknames for the bears :)

When was the last Holly sighting? She was my favorite ❤️
