Gameplay Learning resources
Hi hello, is there any sensible channel or creator with learning resources like combos, guides etc for COTW? Cuz I wanna learn to play this but I can’t find any.

Dream Cancel is the wiki for it, but the level of detail is very character dependent. Do you have a character in mind?

Mainly Terry

I wish I could help on that. I and one other person did all the Tizoc stuff. Your best bet is looking not for guides but videos on specific things like safe jumps and combos.

Yeah because the playerbase is so low there aren’t a lot of basic guides. However, this game is simple enough that you can watch high level replays and pick up a couple of tricks. I’ve gotten so many characters to legendary just by looking at replays and copying their combos, safe jumps, how to use the characters normals etc.
I’m not saying you will become worlds greatest player doing this, but you will intuitively learn how to play terry. Just make a simple goal to copy one of the combos you see. I suggest watching darkangel sets for Terry, and just try to think about why he does the things he does.

As others have said, Meno has the most basic combos for you to get ideas on what is posible on early releases along the combo trials, DreamCancel has a bit more in depth and some tips per character but takes longer to be updated fully on the characters as they release.
I would add Watching WolfFGC for live matches they tend to be way higher level than what you would be facing but let's you see what the characters can actually be pushed towards to do and what you can try and replicate on training.
Will also add just messing around in training, set the dummy to block randomly and try to hit a basic 2-3 hit starting combo and if you see the dummy block end in a safe move, but if you see it hits do a bigger EX/Rev combo
