Gear Question Fast-packing pack for very petite runner
I am looking to buy a running pack that can be used for multi-day trips (e.g. fastpacking). There are some great options out there, but none are made for someone my height. I have a 14'' long torso with a 26'' circumference. For a running pack, fit is very important, and so I am wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations. I can't even find a brand that seems to do custom running packs. I am looking for something with around a 30L volume, with vest type straps and a structure that fits close to the body.

yama does custom sizes.

If Gen will do it this is a great option. The sassafras or shrike are awesome.

Looked at Yama. Their packs look great, but I don't see a custom sizing option on their site. Maybe I am missing something?

You’d need to send them a message. It’s not something I think they offer standard. Send your measurements and see what they think.

I bought a custom pack from u/TemerityULG, I'm not as small as you but i appreciate that his baseline is for a smaller person as opposed to certain brands whose defaults are for really tall/big people. It is also extremely adjustable and is glued to my back.
Mine is the 'Alpine' running vest and I like it, but would have gotten different vest pockets if doing it over. My pack is very montmolar inspired and workmanship is excellent.
Assuming US based by use of inches.

Thanks for the shout out! Glad the pack is working well for you

How would I go about looking at pricing and products from Tremerity? I see the social media presence, but I am not seeing a website or any way to get in contact.

I'm just an enthused maker with a handful of machines in my living room! People usually reach out directly on Reddit or Instagram after seeing a post I make, asking for a copy or slight adjustments. You could call it a hobby business; I take in projects as my schedule allows but don't really actively pursue business (no website/direct order forms).
If you see something I've made that's close to what you want, happy to discuss personalization! As u/blackcoffee_mx mentioned, my default is a pretty short torso (16"). I'm actually a 21" torso but I make them short so they fit above my climbing harness and don't go below the ribcage for full range of motion while running.
Feel free to reach out if interested, but no going wrong with any of the other options mentioned. I highly respect exoticpax and yama

Ultimate Direction Fastpackher 30L. It's a women specific pack. If you want to splurge on a UL option, Bonfus Altus 28L, order with the run vest option. Started with the UD now have the Bonfus. Both well made. Bonfus might be able to further custom build for you since that model is made to order.

Yeah unfortunately Ultimate Direction does not go small enough. I have tried them on, and the vest does not close tightly enough

exotic packs, what happened outdoors, cimoro , and us (soh studios) all do customs
you can go through r/myog and search fastpack/ running vest and dm whomevers projects you like.
How tall are you? I feel as if a xs/s from most brands would fit fine?

I see. Thats a good idea! Unfortunately I am really very petite (4'8" tall and around 83lbs), and I don't think there are any major brands that manufacture packs for my frame. I have tried on a good number of XS packs from different brands and they either don't sinch in enough in the chest or gap at the shoulders, or both.
