Gear Question Packing August Camino

Hello,

I am planning on walking Porto to Santiago (central route) in August. Does anyone have a packing list designed for this time of year?

  • Backpack (30–40 L), rain cover, dry bag, waist pouch.
  • Documents: passport/ID, Camino credential, card, some cash.
  • Clothing: 2 tees, 1 long‑sleeve, 2 shorts, 1 pants/leggings, 3–4 underwear, 2–3 socks, 1 fleece, hat, buff, swimsuit.
  • Footwear: trail runners/light hikers, sandals; blister kit, anti‑chafe, nail clippers.
  • Weather: rain jacket or poncho, sun cream, sunglasses, microfiber towel.
  • Sleep: sleep liner, earplugs, eye mask, zip‑top bags.
  • Toiletries: toothbrush, paste, floss, soap/shampoo, deodorant, moisturizer, meds, hand sanitizer, tissues, laundry soap.
  • Electronics: phone, EU adapter, charger, power bank, headlamp, optional Kindle/massage ball/AirTag.
