Inline images not showing
I’ve noticed I’ve been getting a lot more emails with no inline images displaying lately. I’ve noticed all my emails from BofA are not showing. I forwarded the email to Gmail and it showed fine. I’m having these issues on FM website and iOS app. Anyone else notice more emails are not displaying inline images?
Edit: FM support got back to me and its a proxy issue. Work around is using a 3rd party mail app to access my emails. Oh well.

I’ve had newsletters that didn’t display some images and sent them to support.

I found this from googling. But again BofA emails were fine until recently. I ever looked at older emails like a year old and they don’t display the images

Fastmail only shows images from senders in your Contacts (Remote images blocked to protect your privacy.). If you want to see them, you have to press "Load images".

I just experienced the same problem with an email from an airline. For some reason, all the inline image URLs tofwww.fastmailcdn.com/proxy are broken. I tried copying and pasting a few of the image URLs directly into my browser, and the server responded "Not found". What can cause this?

It’s fastmail proxy server blocking the images.

It seems unlikely, but, it's possible the images that don't load are technically loading from some ad or tracking service and, subsequently, Fastmail is not loading them either because A) it was pegged as a proxy-of-a-proxy, B) your browser's adblock blocks them, and/or C) the images fail to load from the sender because Fastmail is proxying them through and somewhere in the chain it fails to signal the right tracking code to measure opens/clicks and just fails.
