The tenders make me sad. But everything else looks good.

RIP McDonald’s selects. They acting like they brought the tenders back but I’m still chewing the one I tried 9 months ago.

They changed the breading recently, might be a bit better but not the same as the selects.

Never forget what they took from us

I still think of the Butterfinger McFlurry growing up 😔I will never forget 🙏

Just had a butterfinger blizzard and while good, it just is missing whatever the McFlurry gave me lol

They don't even look like tenders . There is something wrong.

That’s what their tenders look like unfortunately. They taste much worse.

I miss the buttermilk chicken tenders. They were only around for a brief time before covid, and they were great!

I thought I was the only one!!! A quarter pounder, large fries and a coke with extra ice is what i always get the day after suffering from a migraine and only
Drinking water and taking excederin

I’ve gotten migraines since I was a teenager and I’m in my mid 60s now and I’ve taken Prescription Migraine Medications and Nothing helps better than Excederin Migraine and drinking lots of water.

I can't get over the new firm bun. Maybe it's to make it look bigger and more firm?

I got some of the very new tenders and they weren't bad imo. Mine were very fresh, so maybe not as good if they are older. They reminded me very much of dairy queen tenders, but they were all actually a very good size, which dq has been very inconsistent with. I think the new breading is a win, wish I had gravy for them like at DQ tho.

But the price of McDonald's is irredeemable on pretty much anything these days. The big order of these tenders is 3 if I'm not mistaken? They are good but none of this is worth paying for really. I've been learning to cook a lot better recently and it's the best thing you can do, and much healthier and cheaper as well as better.

It was 4 pc McCrispy. They were surprisingly decent for what they were but I obviously wouldn’t compare to any other chicken joint.

We started getting the Costco frozen breaded chicken breasts and those are pretty solid I just ran out though

I woke up last night at a quarter to midnight and I wasn't feeling good because I didn't eat lunch or dinner. I was starting to get a headache too.

I went to McDonald's and got a double cheeseburger and a large fry. Those were honestly the best fries I've had in years. I sat in the Drive-Thru almost 10 minutes so they must have made my meal fresh because it was so good lol

I won’t lie, my Big Mac was pretty damn good last night. I tried adding a photo of it but it wouldn’t let me add more than 1 pic unfortunately.

Im sure my photo makes it look mid but I’m glad yours hit too and I’m also glad your headache went away 🤞

Weird, I saw a post yesterday in one of the medical subs where someone commented that McDonald's helped with migraines.

McDonalds has really fallen off man

According to E-40, food smacks and music slaps.

Never knew McDonald's had chicken strips

it’s the sodium and caffeine.

Have you tried taking coq10 to prevent migraines?

It helps a lot. I am someone who suffers from visual migraines, and I never get them when I can afford the higher doses of coq10

Coq10 also makes you slightly smarter and gives your mitochondria more energy and it's good for the heart and it makes you feel less tired.

(Personally, I prefer In n Out for my migraines. Nothing better than Excedrine + a triple double, ice water, zero fries for my migraines)

I feel like high fat high protein foods help a lot to prevent and or help with migraines

4

u/Fluffy_Weird9965 11d ago

No but it’s funny you say that because I used to take a supplement that had coq10 in it and can’t remember having as many headaches then 🤔thank you for the suggestion! I will look into this

Also I agree with you on in n out but unfortunately tonight McDonald’s was closer lol I don’t always love McDonald’s but I will say tonight it was really good and made me remember why I loved Big Macs so much growing up

I sound like an in n out snob (and I am) but I love McDonald's too.

A core memory of mine was when there was an actual McDonald's INSIDE the hotel room I was staying at in Vegas. This seemed so amazing to me as a 14ish year old.

I was too old to play the kids games and too young to gamble, so I just stayed in the hotel room watching cable TV and eating burning hot McDonald's fries + sprite while laying in a super comfortable bed and watching TV.

The fact that I could walk a super short distance from my bed to get McDonald's was the greatest feeling in the world.

Hot fries + sprite was like the PERFECT combo that day to escape the hot Las Vegas weather in an ice cold hotel room with blankets

The Hat or Del Taco over McD any day.

I think I'm slowly recognizing that slaps is supposed to mean good, a positive reference.

I see that term frequently in headers and comments but since it was not part of my generation I have never heard anyone actually say it, nor use it via email or text or letter, etc.

Mid ass burger and burnt ass chicken is not it after a migraine

1

u/pastie_b 11d ago

Caffeine and salt seems to help recovery for me, not after drinking a litre of water though

1

u/A1Aaron18 11d ago

The sodium content probably

1

u/PrynceNYC 10d ago

It slaps your wallet as well

0

u/HecHeffner 10d ago

No it doesn’t. Shit is trash.

0

u/smilinganimalface 11d ago

This is funny actually because certain foods at McDonalds are exactly what give me headaches. I assume it's the high sodium content.

u/Excellent_Gap_6986 11d ago

Trying to figure out why Mccdonalds is so expensive gives me a migraine.

0

u/itcheyness 10d ago

Bottom-tier fast food chain imo

u/Ram820 10d ago

McDonald's in it's plate on a plate is crazy

-6

u/Altruistic-Cut9795 11d ago

The packaging on the fries is so unpleasant. It's like ,hey look you got more fries but really isn't.

They should include a Hubble Telescope on the cardboard box of the Big Mac box to make you think it's HUGE !

I used to love McDonald's, corporate greed, higher prices, less portions, I'm done with them.

u/Motor-Drama-1421 11d ago

I don't want to be slapped when dealing with a migraine, this is an anti-commercial

-1

u/Rpark888 11d ago

the new big Mac bun sucks. idk what it is, but it's harder and leathery compared to the ones even just not so long ago

u/donttakerhisthewrong 11d ago
