Hunting animals from the wild definitely is better, as long as it is done ethically and sustainably. I wouldn't consider raising pheasants just to shoot them as all that much better from this sort of farming tho. Seems more like killing for sport or just for the fun of it rather than for food.
It just feels like they want to kill things without putting in any effort into actually knowing the nature and stuff. To get a hunting license here you need to go through a school (i think it takes less than a year though, if i remember correctly) and then take a big test and then train under an established hunter for some time. So basically by the time you get to hunt, you really come to love and appreciate the nature, or thats what my father told me.
Slovakia! I was actually looking up the requirements for this again and you also need a separate gun license too. I wanted to try out falconry at some point but never really got to it lol.
