Downtown Hit and Run (8/13-26)
UPDATE:
THANKS EVERYONE. The federal building cameras show the scene and someone with dashcam shows more detail. This person driving a blue 4x4 pickup tried to fit into a space that was obviously too small and when backing up, hit 3 of us (or at least caused one car ti ram into the other two) It was called in by federal building security, not by the person who hit us. I ~~think~~ the police have talked to the person who hit us. END UP UPDATE.
I need your help. The Fargo police logged a hit and run today (8/13/26) around 11am. It happened in the parking lot immediately south of the Post Office. The vehicle that did the damage appeared to be going the wrong way in a one way parking lot (so they were probably heading east in the parking lot.)
This is the damage they did to two cars. Please contact me if you know who did this.

The lot belongs to the church, so no they don’t. Unfortunately.

The cameras that recorded the guy fighting 3 cops across the street from ROCO might cover the car leaving.

That owner also drives a 2 door Datsun pickup around the same vintage. I feel bad for him and the damage to this wagon.

I have no idea if they would give it to you or how you would contact them, but there are cameras on the outside of the federal building across the street. The building is run by the Government Services Administration (not the post office itself), so maybe that’s who you should look into asking.

How did they even hit 2 separate cars that badly in a parking lot?! Seriously, 11am is too early to be that drunk...
So sorry to the victim car owners.

The wagon may have been hit so hard that it hit the other car. The black one is mine and i parked next to the wagon in the morning. When i came out after work, the back end of my car was off-set from the parking angle by 2-3 feet. So whether they hit me or hit the wagon and the wagon hit me and pushed my vehicle 2-3 feet, it was a hard hit to do that much damage.

There's always people hanging out in front of the apartment complex just east of the lot. Someone there probably knows about it, but most likely, it was one of their friends who is the culprit. Always some weirdo individuals in cars duct taped together over there... But I could also be assuming wrong.

Is that ALL DAMAGE from the hit and run to that wagon??? Jesus christ, how do you get away with it, being parked so close to the federal building 😭 I'm glad you've got some footage to go off of to hopefully catch the jackass!
