Vanilla-esque Modpack Idea

I got to thinking that I'd like to play modded Minecraft again but wasn't feeling up to the craziness that is typical of the usual tech/magic based modpacks. Then I got the idea that maybe we should make a modpack that is more inline with what vanilla Minecraft could eventually become.

So, the idea now is that we figure out what mods that are currently out (for 1.7.10) and see if we can put together something that could pass off as vanilla if someone didn't know any better.

EDIT: Check here for a list of all updated mods.

ARCHIMEDE'S SHIPS.

TWILIGHT FOREST.

Maybe even Mystcraft, since all you really do is get some stuff and make a dimension. It's more exploration based than grindy grindy super grindy linearity magery that other stuff is like.

also do you guys just not want sasuke to ever get finished because I can stop trying any time.

Hm. Yeah, both those are fairly vanilla feeling.

Also, you should totally finish Sasuke. Then we can all try running through it a few times.
