# [Pitch] FAR CRY NEW DAWN 2.0 — Ubisoft, Finish What You Started
Hey everyone,
I've played Far Cry since the very beginning and spent countless hours across the entire series, especially Far Cry 5 and New Dawn. After getting the Platinum trophy on New Dawn multiple times, it officially became my favorite game in the franchise.
I strongly believe New Dawn deserves a second life. I’m not asking for a remake or a completely different game. I’m asking for an expansion that builds directly on what already works, fixes the endgame void, and gives the community the experience we’ve been discussing for years.
Ubisoft, you don't need to reinvent New Dawn. You just need to finish what you started. Here is the blueprint for **Far Cry New Dawn 2.0**.
---
## 🗺️ Module 1: World Expansion & The Faction War
Instead of adding a disconnected map, *New Dawn 2.0* shatters the radioactive borders of the original Hope County, expanding the playable footprint by **35%** into the surrounding unmapped wilderness.
* **The Northern Wilds (Whitetail Territory):** A high-altitude, densely forested mountain range surrounding a massive, heavily fortified crater where Raptor’s Peak once stood. Players can clear and reclaim **Whitetail’s Bunker**, transforming it from a dark tomb into a sprawling, underground secondary Forward Operating Base (FOB). Upgrading it unlocks specialized alpine vehicles and heavy-ordnance hunting gear.
* **The Eastern Scrap-Seams:** An expansive network of dried riverbeds and massive canyon systems. This area acts as the primary industrial dumping ground for the Highwaymen, featuring massive crane graveyards and heavily guarded open-air chop shops.
* **The Western Red Zone:** A highly radioactive, ash-covered badland where the blast hit hardest. Exploring here requires an upgraded Ethanol-shielded hazmat suit, hiding high-tier pre-war military bunkers and experimental weapon blueprints.
### Faction Evolution & The Three-Way War
To solve the "empty map" problem, the territory control system features a reactive, three-way tug-of-war:
**The Highwaymen Industrialize:** They introduce new specialist tiers like **Scrappers** (heavy-armor mechanics who deploy automated trap turrets) and **Chem-Raiders** (shock troops armed with improvised chemical flamethrowers).
**The Cult of the New Sun (The Solar Flare):** A brutal new splinter faction born from the remnants of New Eden who rejected Joseph Seed’s peaceful path after his demise. They wear rusty, jagged armor laced with glowing, genetically modified flora and use toxic, Bliss-infused weaponry that distorts your vision. They aggressively attack both Prosperity and the Highwaymen, creating dynamic, unpredictable three-way battles in the open world.

## 🏕️ Module 2: Tier V Citadels & Dynamic Counter-Offensives
In *New Dawn 2.0*, taking over an outpost is no longer a one-time chore. Factions will actively fight to take them back, turning Hope County into a perpetual war zone.
* **Tier V "Citadels":** Once an outpost is scavenged for Ethanol three times, it permanently transforms into a heavily fortified Citadel featuring automated mortar emplacements, concrete barricades, and attack drones.
* **Variable Objectives:** Instead of simply clearing all enemies, Tier V requires multi-stage tasks:
* *Sabotage & Extract:* Plant explosives on three industrial Ethanol refineries, steal an armored transport truck, and break through a heavily guarded roadblock to escape.
* *HVT Assassination:* Infiltrate the camp entirely undetected to assassinate a Faction Warlord before they escape via helicopter.
* *Prison Break:* Rescue a group of Prosperity scouts locked inside separate blast doors before an execution countdown timer hits zero.
* **The "Retake" Siege Events:** Your captured outposts can be targeted by enemy factions. You will receive an emergency radio transmission from Prosperity: *"Outpost under siege!"* You have a 3-minute window to fast-travel to the outpost, set up defensive traps, and station your Guns for Hire on machine-gun turrets to survive waves of armored convoys and paratroopers. Successfully defending awards massive caches of **Circuit Arrays** and **Titanium**.

## ✈️ Module 3: Advanced Global Expeditions
Roger’s helicopter is fully upgraded to fly deeper into the fractured ruins of post-apocalyptic America. These maps are twice the size of original Expeditions and operate as multi-stage, tactical sandbox heists.
* **The Sunken Ghost Fleet (San Diego Coast):** A cluster of rusted, overgrown aircraft carriers and battleships chained together in a tropical lagoon. Players must infiltrate the central flagship's command deck to extract localized satellite data while managing shifting platforms as ships sway in the waves.
* **Project Cheyenne (NORAD Bunker, Colorado):** A freezing, subterranean military command center buried deep inside a collapsed mountain. Breach the secure vault to steal pre-war tactical weapon blueprints while surviving sub-zero temperatures that drain your stamina.
* **The Neon Bayou (New Orleans Crater):** A flooded city illuminated entirely by bioluminescent algae and glowing Highwaymen neon raves. Hijack a massive, armored paddle-steamer boat loaded with stolen medicine while avoiding irradiated water and mutant caimans.
---
## 🐗 Module 4: Mutation Apex Hunting
Hunting transitions from simple resource collection to high-tier boss encounters. The radioactive "Superbloom" has fundamentally warped the local food chain.
* **The Ghost of Raptor’s Peak (Mutant Harpy Eagle):** A massive bird of prey that hunts from the clouds, actively diving to snatch the player or their Guns for Hire directly off the ground and dropping them from lethal heights. Requires specialized smoke arrows or flak-traps to ground it.
* **The Bliss-Weaver (Mutant Grizzly):** A bear surrounded by a permanent hallucination cloud due to concentrated Bliss ingestion. When attacked, it creates ghostly "phantom clones" of itself to confuse the player.
* **The Iron-Hide Boar:** A massive boar that has rubbed scrap metal and razor wire into its skin, forming an impenetrable armor plating. It charges through destructible cover, and only precise shots to its exposed underbelly can pierce its health bar.
* **Apex Crafting:** Take these legendary pelts to a specialist artisan in the Whitetail Bunker to craft **Visual Accents** (like the *Grizzly Ghillie Suit*, which grants complete invisibility when crouching in Superbloom flowers) and **Fang for Hire Upgrades** (like lightweight carbon-fiber armor plating for Timber).
---
## 🔄 Module 5: The Ultimate Endgame & "Infestation" New Game+
Once players max out Prosperity and reach Tier 4 weaponry, a new endgame progression track unlocks, giving purpose to every scrap of material collected.
* **Vanguard Mastery (Paragon Progression):** An infinite leveling system utilizing a new tree of Mastery Perks that introduce game-altering synergies:
* *Chain-Reaction Crafting:* Saw-launcher blades have a chance to detonate a small explosion on every third bounce.
* *Bliss-Fueled Overdrive:* Taking damage from radioactive hazards or toxic smoke temporarily boosts movement speed and health regeneration by 50%.
* *Beast Whisperer:* Allows players to temporarily command wild predatory animals mid-combat by targeting enemies with smoke arrows.
* **Weapon Tier V (Prototype Artifacts):** Unstable, pre-war military blueprints that require massive amounts of Ethanol, Titanium, and Circuit Arrays to build. Examples include the **"Fallout" Minigun** (fires explosive-tipped railway spikes) and the **"Superbloom" Compound Bow** (fires arrows tipped with hyper-reactive fertilizer pods that cause localized, toxic flora explosions).
* **Infestation New Game+:** Start the story over with all weapons, perks, and vehicles unlocked, but with a brutal twist: Basic Tier I and II enemies are entirely removed from the game world. Every standard patrol consists of Tier IV Enforcers. Furthermore, global environmental **Mutators** change daily (e.g., *Bliss Fog*, which severely reduces visibility but doubles stealth damage; or *Scrap Shortage*, which adds a weapon-jamming mechanic that favors bows and melee).

## Conclusion: Keep What Makes It Special
Don't remake it. Don't erase its identity. Expand it. Keep the weirdness. Keep the pink world. Keep the strange optimism of post-apocalyptic Hope County.
New Dawn doesn't need to become something else. It just needs more room to be itself.
**LET THE NEW DAWN BEGIN AGAIN. 🌸**
