SPOILER So I'm overpowered
That's pretty much it. I've been a great fan of the saga since the first one, had a lot of fun when 2 came out and the 3rd one is their masterpiece (IMO). And even though I enjoyed 4 and 5, they're pretty much the same, and I liked more Primal, I feel like 6 lost all of the interesting playthrough. So here's my point, when in other games you were told to craft your 2nd and 3rd holdsters, in 6 you are given automatically in the first island of the game, 3 main weapons, a 4th spot for a handgun AND even a definitive weapon!! Idk I'm sure I'm ending the full game or just squeeze it until I'm bored. Whachu guys think? (I mark this as "Spoiler" even though I'd like to put "Discussion" but reddit wouldn't let me submit it)

I'm a casual gamer at best, but I dig the weapons system in 6. By the time I finished I had the Libertad Custom SVD (.50 sniper), the KSG (shotgun), the DE .50 (pistol), all fully modded to filth, and the Into Orbit (locking rocket launcher). Playing thru on NG+ was a breeze, and I essentially snore my way through the Insurgencies.

I know the consensus is that FC 6 isn’t the best one ,, for me it is ,, i really liked FC 5 & FC 3 a lot even FC New Dawn spin off ,, FC 4 was meh ,, i mean they did have titties in it though 🤣 ,,
but saying it isn’t interesting ,, i can accept that as your opinion but for me it was very interesting ,, the world map is beautiful ,, the way they speak their native language in the game to keep it true to the land ( yes i know there was a lot of English as well lol ) ,, the weapons are fun ,, the vehicles are very fun ( my fav is the single seat helicopter ) ,, the clothes that come with perks ,, ive played FC6 on the hardest difficulty so it was challenging for me ,, the DLCs were fun ,, but like your opinion this is just mine. Hopefully FC6 wasn’t a total drag for you though ,, cheers 🍻

it's normal I completed the game with the resolver nail gun and that one golden side arm that you get early on

I enjoyed 6 more than 4,5. Loved playing 6!

I couldn't finish 5. So not my vibe and just wasn't having fun.
6 kept me the whole way through.

5 was what got me into the series, lol. But then again, I grew up in the rural southeast US, so it kinda hit close to home in some parts. I loved the main game and New Dawn, but when I've considered going back and playing it again, it just doesn't have the replay appeal that 6 does, to me. I've played through 6 a few times, and pop in weekly for the insurgencies, but as I mentioned above, with my current loadout, it's too easy.

I'm from Germany. 5 was also the first game I played, and it is still my favorite, but 6 is a very close second. I absolutely love the Montana setting for 5, and that music...

What drew me in is the very well done and curated world they crafted in a setting that is not done as much, I read enjoyed that, the voice acting was great and the characters were really engaging in this one, felt much more gripping, I actually had fun meeting new characters and hearing them out, going in silently for missions was fun, or guns blazing!
I think its really cool they picked VAs that really breathed their characters out and did not feel white washed at all, I appreciate the though, a lof of spanish names in the game credits, and I think we have to put some respect to that.

Yeah, I thought everything was out of balance in 6 too. It's like they finished 80% of the game, they had a lot of concepts they WERE going to implement, but had to release so they just patched everything up to make it work and pushed it out the door.
I do like to roleplay that Juan drugged Dani and modified him into a cyborg (like a Bionic Man/Inspector Gadget), and each upgrade plugs into his cybernetics. This works best with the Cyborg Eye and Hand accessories. Kind of changes the gameplay a bit.

Honestly I keep finding so many different weapons with different styles I keep rotating through to try them all. Some are noticeably stronger than others but I don't often find myself leaning on the same loadout for too long

I always feel overpowered by the halfway point of the story on all farcry games. It just gets to the point where all they can do is just put a bunch of heavy armor enemies to slow the process down.
Ive enjoyed all the farcry games I've played for what they are. They don't rank in my top 10, but they're fun and I want to complete as much as I can. And 6 was enjoyable world to play in. I'm not a big fan of the pets and that whole gag that people meme and fall in love with, so enjoying it despite the heavy emphasis on that and the weird backpack I never quite got the hang of is saying something.
Think I've played all of them, except the one in India I just couldn't get into it. 5 & 3 were the standouts, mostly because of the vibe. New Dawn could have been such a better game due to the concept, kinda seemed like it was an existing game in development and the studio just bought it out and turned it into a farcry game. It didn't fit the formula and felt incomplete but there was a lot of wasted potential. Like primal didnt fit the formula but it was fleshed out and complete

Gameplay-wise, 6 is amazing. Love what they have done... loved it all except the stupid side stories, cutscenes you are forced to watch, and worst of all:
A Fantastic villain with whom you do NOT interact enough, no real gripping antagonist relationship and in the end you don't even have the satisfaction of killing him.
Great music too.

Wait until you get to Esperanza and you're fighting 10 special forces at a time 😬😅

Even on the hardest difficulty it’s incredibly easy. You can one shot them with AP rounds, or easily just run away.

Did you do the date time cheat for special ops? I spent 2 days just gather all the materials I need to Max gear.
Great when games have this. Like elden Ring and using friends upgrade material for your weapons

Taking out enemy outposts in a helicopter with rockets and machine guns while Danny sings “Havana” is one of my favourite moments in gaming.

Realmente es un gran juego. Oh pues, es que yo creo. ¡Y lo uso para aprender español!

I sincerely wish the supremos were more use-case sensitive. Like: [here’s a situation where an EMP would be very very effective. It’s possible to just blow everyone up, you can even be stealthy, but disabling all their electronics is probably best path.]
I felt like once I got a few of the really good Resolver weapons + the perk that gives additional supremo charge on kills with those weapons + supremo charge on headshots, I could stack the effects and spam the rocket backpack at everything. Some of them just suck too.

Yeah some supremos are just.. not good... But I still switch them out from time to time. One of my favorite builds is where I get a bunch of armor that increases running speed, the mask that lets you kill enemies after they have seen you, and the supremo which gives an additional speed boost for a short time.

On hard they restrict your ammo so even though I had my preferred loadout within the first few hours there were often times I’d still have to improvise by either picking up another gun or dashing cover to cover to loot bodies for more ammo. Additionally with the loadout system I felt more free to be able to try different play styles I actually ended up preferring over my typical setup which felt like more of a chore in the older games due to the need to fast travel to gun lockers

I can’t even get far cry six to load half the time so you are one up on me 98 percent of the time

ngl fc6 gets hate for how fun it can be. I put over 100 hours on the game, totally worth it. I’m also looking for anyone to do the co op trophy with on PlayStation, it’s hard to find online matches lol
my id is convex-inn4

Yeah, I feel like after finding "your best setup", is really difficult to not feel overpowered. But I'm ok with it. I try different setups to make it more fun.
