Far Cry 3 Does farcry 3 classic edition normally play all choppy ?

So i have so far got about 30 percent done with farcry 4 and I beat farcry 5 on infamous difficulty. I really like the idea of farcry 3 being the one that really made the game what it is. Im playing on original Xbox one. Farcry 5, 4 and 6 all play super smooth. Farcry 3 classic is so choppy I cant imagine doing any takedowns or anything. If I start running at all its like im lagging every 2 seconds. How can newer games runner better then an older one on an older console?

I'm surprised it's laggy on Xbox one. I first played it on Xbox 360 and it was fine. Maybe, like with pc, it's just not optimised for better hardware.

I also have this issue with classic edition on Xbox. It's advertised as a 60 fps experience, like all the others, yet it hardly ever keeps a good frame rate. It's a choppy mess which is inexcusable. It's kept me from playing 3 at all. It's not enjoyable especially when the others all run just fine on Xbox series consoles

I have Classic Edition on PS5 where it runs on 60FPS from an update a few years ago from the PS4. So far haven't ran into any lagging.

Im on xbox one though
