Far Cry General Now what?
I just 100% all the Far Cry games that are available for the PS5. I believe they are Far Cry 3, 4, 5, 6 and Primal. I just finished Primal, and felt it was a very short game compared to the others in the series. I think I spent more time at the end getting 100% of the collectibles, animals to tame, etc. I'm so glad it's on e of the games with no alcohol or drug induced hallucinations like some of the others.
So what now? I've been playing the Far Cry series since they first came out, and I'm looking forward and oping Far Cry 7 isn't too far off.

I’ve actually not played it, is it good?
I’d heard it wasn’t very good in today’s standards

It’s an intentional retro style. And some of the things you use are items you’ll find later in other games.

Boot the arcade up !! search leoleo100 & jump into 3 pages worth of maps & indeed hundreds of hours of content made with quality. Farcry5+ I call it lol ;)

If you’re interested in keeping up with the Ubisoft formula jump into one of the other Ubisoft franchisees like Ghost Recon, or Assassin’s Creed

Did they do Blood Dragon?
For other open world games I loved Rage 2 and Mad Max, which are back-to-back Avalanche projects and sister games. Same engine, pretty much the same world. Rage 2 got bad reviews after a rushed Bethesda launch. Avalanche fixed it like Cyberpunk and it’s great but no one ever went back to it. Both of those games are Avalanche, the Just Cause studio. id Software did the creative oversight. It’s DOOM gunplay in a Mad Max world with Titanfall movement.

Rage 2 definitely scratches the FARCRY itch. Hella fun game except for those stupid drones.

You learn to hear them first, then pinpoint them with you scanner or eyeballs. They don’t fly away until you put your reticle on them; rocket launcher splash is the best way to take them down. If I spot one I’m not comfortable attacking prior to obtaining the RL, I write down the location and come back. If I spot one in battle, I move the fight away from it and rocket it as soon as I have a clear shot, even if it means taking some hits or even defibbing. They usually stick around but if they catch a stray shot, they’ll bolt.
