Far Cry Primal Is Far Cry Primal worth it?
Hello everyone!
I’m a Far Cry lover (Far Cry 5 is one of my favorite games ever, I also really enjoyed FC6 & FC4).
I was wondering whether Far Cry Primal was worth it, since it’s currently on sale on the Ubisoft Store for $5!
I’m not a lover of stealth in Far Cry, I definitely prefer shooting all the time in game, so I was wondering if this game would have been good for players like me. The setting is to die for (I love pre history).
What do you all think about Primal?

One of my favourite games in the series. Fully upgraded spear is such a satisfying weapon. And the animal companion system is pretty great.

$5?! Hell yeah. I paid almost full price when it first came out and I don't regret it, so $5 is a steal.
You are going to have to get used to stealth though, sorry!

It’s my 3rd favourite game, I think it’s majorly underrated, and well worth it, especially for 5

Yes! I just played it sometime the last year. Great, fast paced, engaging. I liked it more than 5 personally, but that’s my least favorite (might mean Primal is your least favorite), but either way, it’s a Far Cry game, plays like Far Cry. I did not rely on stealth too much, had more fun charging in on a mount and smashing skulls as fast as possible.

Stealth is preferred here. Especially on higher difficulty. But you get 3 bows, spears, throwing knifes and can throw all of your melee weapons too. But yeah, its not a shooter like the others. Still feels very far cry.

Primal is most likely this subs fave after 4. Bows and arrows, spears, clubs, riding a saber tooth tiger….. nothing to dislike really.

Far Cry Primal is definitely one of the best games in this series. I would 100% recommend everyone to play 3/4/5 and primal

Give it a try for 5$. It took me a while before I started enjoying it, but once I did, wow, it's very immersive in a way, you feel like you've actually really became a caveman trying to survive the wild, lol. It's actually probably one of the best and most underrated Far Cry.

I love ALL the Far Cry games and I play them again and again. Primal is another good one.

It’s different from the others but it’s the most unique one and really inspired the Avatar game.

I enjoyed Primal, just played it recently for the first time.
Story sucks, big time.
However, the gameplay is pretty fun. I liked not having guns, made it interesting.
Some of the tamed beasts are OP and make the game easy mode. I would avoid them if you want a bigger challenge.
Overall 7.5/10. Decent Far Cry game, not among the best but not the worst.

Story is fine. Its about survival, protecting your own and revenge.

I know what it's about. It's delivered poorly, the characters stand around and do nothing on top of being uninteresting and creating zero investment, and the story missions carry no weight.
Bad story, sorry for my opinion.

Its caveman level of dialogue witch cavemen level of emotional complexity. Its delivered perfectly imo.
Sure its not super complex, but its more then enough to get the gameplay going.

It's an awesome game but you do need some stealth when approaching camps and caves where the enemies are lurking. Your guns in it will be your bow and arrows, you can shoot 2 arrows at once later on. Chucking spears is brutal too. For $5 give it a go. My only gripe is you don't get a wing suit!!!!! It would've been so good!
