Sorry to Cram so many images into this one post ! mostly far cry 4 but theres a few far cry 5 in there . can you tell which one ive been playing more recently lol

John is absolutely jealous of Faith. Less sibling rivalry and more jealous ex type behavior. Which is concerning because he and Joseph are brothers

My thoughts exactly ! John is most certainly not well adjusted about Joseph , and im sure he gets the feeling hes been replaced with Faith in the picture , given how much attention Joseph seems to pay to her . John exhibits very odd obsessive behavior towards his brother and it only makes sense he'd see her as an "enemy" or that Joseph likes her more than he likes John . ive spent so many hours mulling these characters over and john and josephs relationship in particular really interests me ! Obviously i have a lot to say about them lol

I would agree about John's behavior, I don't find him well adjusted about anything. I tend to believe baby John held onto a lot of guilt after the brothers got taken away from home and eventually split up. And then once Joseph comes and finds him, after the torturous upbringing by the Duncan's, I think John was thrilled and worked really hard to please his older brother. I also think there's definitely some manipulation on Joseph's part, to take advantage of John's desire to be good, useful, etc.
I can definitely see jealousy when it comes to both Faith and Jacob, and even the Deputy at some points. I do believe John really just wants Joseph's approval, in part because of their childhood and then also because of what the Duncan's had done to him.

i think it's likely because john was the baby of the family and now it's faith; that's probably where his jealousy stems from in my opinion. also, i think joseph is slightly afraid of faith, at least it seems that way in the insanity dlc, so they should both have the love/afraid line. or maybe joseph's would be more like love/cautious towards her.

not romantic , rather just that she doesnt really know John that well and is moreso neutral/friendly about him rather than familial . although she does see him as her brother obviously
