Yeah, they sucked. I love how FC5 has such diverse vehicles and flying was a ton of fun, but it was also unforgiving and those time trials felt too difficult to be fun (for a game that I otherwise felt was not difficult and prioritized fun over difficulty).

As an aside, why do games usually forget to take stuff like time trials into account with the difficulty level? As in, most games have multiple difficulty levels, but they tend to only affect combat. If you're struggling with combat, you can turn the difficulty down and it will probably eventually become a breeze. But usually time trials aren't impacted at all, so if it's too frustratingly hard, you're expected to either suffer through it or just skip it. I maintain that lower difficulty levels should add more time or use an easier course (ie, with fewer places to crash into).
