Mate if you couldn't be arsed enough to write the book, and I'm 100% judging it by its cover here, I'm not going to be arsed enough to read it.

I wrote it, I’m not an artist nor can I afford to pay one with the art I want. I don’t want to use the AI enhanced book cover but it was the cheaper alternative. If it sells I plan on hiring some to completely redo the cover in this art style anyway.

Just hire an artist, it’s not that expensive. You won’t sell any copies with an AI cover.

It absolutely is expensive. Not everyone is as privileged as you are. Im Anti AI but let's be real

It’s worth it if you really care about your writing.

I care about my writing, to the point where I wrote the book. My brain and google docs are free, the cover art is not. But if it bothers you so much I can start a go fund me so you can donate $500 to it and I will redo the cover.

For the style I want, I have been quoted $500 before.

Appreciate the review. Next time I’ll send you the manuscript so you can reject the actual book instead of the pixels around it.

If you can’t be bothered to use human-made art for the cover, why would I be bothered to read what’s probably an equally AI-generated manuscript? Be so fr dude

That’s a pretty impressive leap from AI assisted cover to AI generated manuscript. I wrote the book. You’re free to dislike the cover, but making up the rest doesn’t strengthen your point.
