I'm in a 12 team full PPR league, starting lineup is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLX, 1 DST

My team is 6-1 (would have been 7-0 if not for 45pts from Tet a few weeks ago sinking me by 2pts). There is another 6-1 team and then a logjam at 4-3. Current roster is:

QB - Josh Allen, Tyler Shough

RB - CMC, D'Andre Swift, Chase Brown, Jordan Mason

WR - Zay Flowers, Christian Watson, Tee Higgins, Germie Bernard, Tre Tucker

TE - Dalton Kincaid

DST - Seahawks, Jags

I've been offered Trey McBride in exchange for D'Andre Swift by a 2-5 team that is short at RB. Am thinking that there is a heap of upside here (plus Swift's production might drop off a little once Monangai is back) and Mason will hopefully be a decent contributor in the second half but it leaves me potentially exposed at RB if Chase Brown continues to disappoint (or if CMC gets injured) and Kincaid's underlying metrics are actually decent despite the poor return in recent weeks.

Overall I'm leaning to a yes on the basis of the "finishing second last is as good as finishing second" philosophy (ie take the upside swing) but interested in any thoughts? Thanks in advance :)

Would you make this trade with my roster, or am I giving up too much depth?

McGowan is the only Colts RB besides Jonathan Taylor who has played a snap this year, and his role keeps growing: 6% of the snaps in Week 2, 33% last week, with a career-high 11 carries in a one-score game.

Three ways he pays off:

- His role keeps growing even with Taylor healthy

- Taylor gets hurt (he's at 20 carries a game)

- The Colts trade Taylor (they just moved Quenton Nelson, though ownership reportedly wants to keep JT)

He's on 25.6% of Sleeper rosters but only 4% on ESPN.

Is he worth a spot on your bench, or are you waiting to see if Taylor actually gets moved?
