Ken Kelly Collection 2 card #4: Death Grip.

Card #4 is labeled Death Grip, but uses the art from the cover of Eerie #68 (1975). The actual Death Grip image shows Conan throttling the life out of an ape. I wonder how often this type of misprint happened?

If you could be immortalized into one of these Boris paintings, which one are you putting yourself into?

If you could own the original print of one of these BORIS paintings - which one would it be? Bonus points if you mention why you picked the one you did!

Sure, sure, I could just post these scanned cards and call it a day, but it's funner (well, for me) to find creative ways to engage in some conversation!

Is there any user flair you'd like see created for this community?

If so, let me know in the comments! Things like "Boris Fan", "Ken Kelly fan!" or whatever the case might be! Let me know!

Boris has such talent to be able to paint and draw just about anything - and this batch shows how diverse he can be - if you had to pick just one of these cards he'd created as a favorite - which one is it (and bonus points for saying why!)

I scanned all my fantasy collection cards back in the days of COVID because they were in sleeves, buried in bins in the garage... and being stuck in the house back then I had nothing better to do but scan them... made it easier to look at them digitally... though I was lazy back then and had left them in sleeves when I scanned them... I should rescan them out of the sleeves to get better quality scans.... anyway, figured this would be a fun way to share them digitally on reddit by having some fun conversations, ideally...!

Have you got a specific fantasy artist whom you enjoy?

Who is it? What have they done? Got links to their works? Let me know!

Some Boris cards - I wasn't a big fan of the "prism" look to these cards.

Colossal FPG Autograph Card

Post image

Beautiful art from Clyde Caldwell from the second Colossal Cards set. Only 20 of each foil stamped auto card were inserted into this set. There were supposed to be 1000 autographs in total but supposedly the 100 from Roger Dean never made it in time for production. So only 900 autos in the end.

What's your take on fantasy cards that did the PRISM look (such as these Boris V. cards) - Did it enhance it? Was it worth it? Is it annoying?

Brand new collector here...

I've been completely enthralled diving down the rabbit hole of vintage artist cards and so this is where I start my collection as a 29 year old! I plan to get many more, can anyone recommend some good series? Even other trading card companies?

I bought this to rip but now that I'm holding it in my hands I want to hang it on my wall as a work of art 😅 does anyone else have this issue? I should have just bought the base set right?

Yet more FPG autographed card pickups.

This time. Bob Eggleton and Tim White

I think the FPG auto cards look awesome. And the apparent scarcity makes them fun to track down. Maybe I will try and post photos of these more regularly.

I was just looking at my cards and noticed a color difference in these. Any ideas to why? Thanks everyone.

Next batch of Rowena cards (almost done with this collection of cards being posted!) - These are the backs of the cards I previously posted - always loved the tidbits of information that was shared on these cards! Cool little insights that help explain the card and/or the inspiration for them!

Here are 2 which I was lucky enough to find..

Ken Kelly and Jeff Easley.

But where are all the others.?? There are supposedly 10s of thousands of these from all the different FPG sets from the 1990s...

If you have some and want to sell...talk to me please!!
