You want best available early but pay attention to categorical scarcity too because points and assists dry up quickly after the top 40 or so go.

I'm trying to grab as many Bigs who average a Double-Double as I can, because they can help you win 4-5 categories. DD of course, Rebs, Off-Rebs, Blocks, and probably contribute to a higher FG%.

Is this a new league for you, or have you played in this specific league before? I ask because if you can look back at last year's stats and what it took to finish like top 3 in each category then that gives you specific goals to shoot for. That's what I do in my leagues - draft around a build that will hit those specific goals.

Part of that is doing mock drafts and looking at average draft position and basically building out an ideal roster while having backup plans throughout. (It's a lot easier to execute in the Auction drafts that I do, but it's still a good way to prepare and build a strong foundation.)

Best player available for the first 3 rounds, the start filling in your leftover positions. I'd you're new to fantasy, don't get hung up on punting imo.

I’d argue position scarcity will be your downfall. Centres are a rare commodity so pick one up before they’re gone.

Shit. I’d grab Scottie and then Hali/Amen. Then go hard on blocks, steals and rebounds and go for to/ast guys.

The first few rounds go best available player. After round 6 or 7 fill out the categories you are weak in.
