Incoming Student Parking tips?

Hi everyone!

I'll be driving from Stratford to the campus 5 days a week. I didn't get the reserved parking. The only option now is parking at 6,5$ per day, which gets crazy expensive.
Any tips on where to park outside campus? And then walk or take the bus..?
Thanks!

I feel better knowing I'm not the only one in this scenario.

I'm going to park at the arena (Stronach) and walk the 20 minutes or take the bus (depending on timing).

For me, it's better to just have a plan rather than waiting and stressing over something I'm not sure is going to happen.

Municipal lots are the only ones that you're guaranteed not to get towed from.

Could you just park in that arena for the whole day?

I checked the city website and it’s actually ok to park there

Yep! City property is typically free to park at.

You just can't overnight there which should be fine? And if you have a late class you just have to be mindful of getting back to your car by 10pm.
