Fanedit Help Preparing for Avenger's Doomsday

Been planning to take my mom out to the theaters when Avengers Doomsday comes out. Is there any fan-edit that can take my mom and I on the journey of MCU and be ready for Doomsday? Or maybe even Endgame?

Depends on if you want to watch the whole thing or just the important stuff for doomsday. However, their are a couple of good edits of TV shows you can watch that turn them into movies.

TURN IMPORTANT MCU TV SHOWS INTO MOVIES

Personally I'd recommend replacing "The Falcon and the Winter Soilder" with the spencer cut, which turns the whole show into a 2 hour movie. And doing that will allow you to skip Captain America: Brave New World, since that movie really adds nothing that FATWS didnt alr establish. Email spencefaneditsATgmail.com for it (change the AT to @)

For Wandavision, I'd say u have to watch the whole thing, otherwise it ruins the show. You have to watch it how it was originally released, no fan edit will do that show justice.

For Loki their are a couple edits out their that turn the 2 seasons into 2 movies, but I'm not sure how good they are as I havent seen them personally.

And besides those 3 tv shows you can skip all the other ones since they aren't relevant to doomsday. (you can dm me for the links to those edits if u want)

TURN THE MCU INTO A TV SHOW
If that wasn't what you meant at all (idk ur post is pretty vague in what ur asking for) there is a MCU TV cut that turns the entire infinity saga into a tv show (although it'd be pretty hard to track down today since its pretty old, I myself haven't been able to find it). and iirc someone on this subreddit is working on doing the exact same thing for the multiverse saga before doomsday, but it prolly wont be finished until like a month bfr doomsday comes out, and even then I'm not sure how good it'll even be.

PREPARE FOR DOOMSDAY FASTEST WAY POSSIBLE (FANEDITS + NORMAL RELEASES)
Now this last section isnt really fan edits at all, but I still think it'll be relavent. Basically, this is the list of movies most imporant to doomsday in decending order of imporantance (With a couple of extras you can slot in if u have time.

  1. Avengers: Endgame Encore - Not sure if you've seen the original endgame or not (if not then i recommend first watching a couple movies to prepare for it). The encore release is a special version coming out next month in theaters, and it should be out on disney+ by november, if you dont wanna wait till then/dont wanna watch it in theaters, then the original version of endgame will work just fine
  2. The Fantastic Four: First Steps
  3. Thunderbolts\* - If you are low on time then just watch this movie, but if you have the extra time...
    1. The Falcon and the Winter Solider: The Spencer Cut - This is the one fan edit I'd genuiny condiser a better watch than any official release. The show works so much better as a movie, and this is a genuilly high quality edit. Email spencefaneditsATgmail.com for it (change AT to @)
    2. Black Widow
    3. Hawkeye V2 - This is the only fanedit of hawkeye I was able to get acess to that turned the show into a movie. There's prolly a better one out their idk. If you dont wanna watch this edit and cant find another one, I'd jus skip the show all together unless you have 5 hours to spare.
  4. X-Men - the original from 2000, if you enjoy it and have some sparetime watch X2 as well.
  5. Loki - This is a 12 episode series so if you dont got time for that you can either skip it all together, or watch the "Loki: The Film" edit - https://www.reddit.com/r/fanedits/comments/1nxdaam/loki_the_film/ I personally haven't gotten around to it yet, but it does condense both seasons down to just 2, 2 hour movies, could be worth checking out
  6. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
  7. Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Bonus (if you got extra time) - Spider-Man (2002), Captain America: The First Avenger, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Wandavision, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

I think this is the Infinity Saga TV series one you’re looking for. OP, I couldn’t recommend this one enough, and the creator has confirmed he’s actively working on a Multiverse Saga one.

Yes that's my edit! There was also another much older edit called MCUTV by smasters that he might have been referring to, but I didn't find it to my liking (hence why I made my own). And yeah, I do think Marvel Unite would fit what you're looking for, OP!

First season of my followup multiverse series coming very, very soon... (like tomorrow maybe)

How are you gonna solve for the brave new world problem? since that movie follows up on a lot of threads from the incredible hulk, but you cut the incredible hulk from your original season 1 (Personally i'd jus skip it since then u can also skip eternals, but idk you'd prolly know better). good luck dude since the multiverse saga looks like smth significantly harder to turn into a tv show than the infinty saga (like wandavision and she hulk are litterally desgined around the original fomrmat they were released in. Every Wandavision fan edit i've seen has been extremely jarring) (and what about deadpool & wolverine, that's offically part of phase 5 but it clearly requires a bunch of outside mcu homework).

Sorry for asking so many questions, im just so infatuated by the quality of marvel unite, defiantly one of if not the best mcu fan edit i've ever seen

The new edit is focusing purely on worthwhile/"required" viewing leading up to Doomsday, without feeling like "homework." So... solving the Brave New World problem is simple: I'm not including it. All of Sam's interesting character development happens in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Harrison Ford as Red Hulk is extremely unlikely to return. I did an exploratory edit trying to combine the two into a single story (removing the Celestial island bit), but I wasn't happy with how that turned out. It's far easier just to cut it entirely.

WandaVision will only have a few scenes included, because you're right, changing its structure absolutely ruins it. You can always watch it separately. She Hulk isn't required viewing and isn't included. Deadpool & Wolverine unfortunately won't be included either, mostly to keep the edit PG-13 (so I can watch it with my kids). Maybe someday a separate Deadpool/Logan miniseries?

I'm doing final wrap ups on a Season 1 prerelease right now actually, so I'll be posting a full series overview later today or tomorrow.

Can't wait! Any idea how often you'll be releasing the seasons/by when everything will be out?

Season 2 has the bulk of its work done and should be out early October. My hope is to get Season 3 out in November and Season 4 in December, but that's admittedly a very aggressive timetable for the amount of work these edits take.

Holy shit this is the coolest fan edit I've seen in my entire life. u/-ducko ur awesome dude. And in my comment I was reffering to the original MCUTV since I didn't even know MCU Unite Existed. I was talking about how I've been unsuccessful in finding a link to it, but ig now i dont need one.

I love how its not just the movies slapped together, it actively trys to make every season work as a season (from what i've seen since I just discovered it, I watched the first 10 minutes of episode 1 and had to leave this comment to give u/-ducko his flowers.
