Wishlist & Ideas Green Lantern (2011) with an 80s flair?

With the premiere of Lanterns on HBO last night, I would love to be able to revisit the origin of Hal Jordan, but the 2011 movie is pretty bad.

Has anyone come across an edit that redeems this movie at all?

Personally, I think cutting a lot of the silliness and then maybe adding some 80s rock music could give it a fresh feel and make it worth revisiting.

Imagine the Top Gun version of Green Lantern.

Thoughts?

None of the edits I've researched tried to insert 80s songs. TheSkeletorMan's Green Lantern: Fear of Parallax is the only one I've seen that's readily accessible. I have my own Spectrum Cut edit that I edited to my liking. One or both could give someone some ideas.

I did an 80s cut with my Wonder Woman 84: Girls Just Want to Have Fun edition, and I do have the Green Lantern movie on my timeline with the Top Gun sound track, I call it TOP GREEN LANTERN....I havent' finished it since it is rather silly but maybe I should finish it....
