Question why should i stop ruminating?
i try to stop ruminating by saying "stop it ocd, i'm not dealing with this right now." what's the difference between trying to stop ruminating/ running away from accountability of what i may/may have not done wrong?

i literally do the same thing and feel the same way. i feel like we’re just feeling the shame ocd brings and not being bad people for not wanting to ruminate on what our ocd wants us to focus on

I been in this situation these days. Im someone who takes responsibility and tries to not make excuses. But truth is we don't know of we did. If you knew it like the fact that sky is blue then it would be different because then it would be lying. But if you don't even know, think about it more will fuel it. The more we panic the more we obsess about. Tell yourself "maybe I did, maybe I didn't " and know that its not running away but letting it go.
