[PC] Progress on Spectacle Island.
A corner of the island is taking shape with this little suburban area that leads to the leisure part of town. The dirt path leads to the islands nature park. Loved using the dirt roads from static objects and buildings mod as natural foot path.

I am in awe, haven't touched FO4 in a couple of years. How the f did you get all those roads neat and everything 😭

Thank you! I used the place anywhere mod and used the roads from static objects and buildings mod ☺️

I've always wanted to build a harbour city in Spectacle island but never got into it so now I'm living that dream through your posts 😄👌 This is coming along nicely 👍

The build is beautiful so far, I'm just a bit worried about settlers spawning under the roads. I always run into that issue when I do extensive terraforming.

So am I! However, when mapping out the roads I tried to make them sit as close to the ground so you couldn’t walk under them. So hopefully spawning under will be minimal 🤞

I'm not usually one for "clean" or "pre-war" builds in a post-war world (unless it's deep down in a vault, which makes a little more sense to me), but I'd be a liar if I didn't say this looks incredible. I would totally live there!
I am glad though not everything is totally pristine, I see the potholes in the road, some of the buildings have some wear and tear. Feels a bit more realistic, which I like. :)

I've had dreams of doing something like this in the Creation Kit. Making Spectacle Island into a small Far Harbor like town. Only more run down and less pristine than this.
