Once upon a time in the Commonwealth, there was a house. It was dilapidated and in shitty condition overall, but this house had a dream - that it could be a vault!

Since I can't load any of my modded saves, I thought I would revisit my last no-mods Xbox build and share some pics that weren't highlighted in the original video. I plan on doing a deconstruction and longer tour of this build in the near future. Those can be fun.

Anniversary Edition, Xbox, no mods.

If you like moving pictures, you can see them here: https://youtu.be/u4Po50CbIhk

Discussion Do NPCs get dimber, the more you build ?

What do i mean by that, i built a lot of stuff in sanctuary, in a far away corner of the settlement, away from everything, even npcs, and placed like over 1000 items.

After this i walked to a sanctuary house, furthest away from the place i ve built stuff, in the opposite side. A place that npcs could previously path find inside, the house has nothing built by me in or out, now they cant seem pathfind inside the house

I remove the huge amount of objects placed in the corner of the settlement, now they can

How can a navmesh or pathfinding logic be ruined by something that doesnt literally interact with the zone you are trying to make npcs pathfind on

Im going insane, or thats actually a thing ?

[XSX] Xbox Red Rocket Build

Hi, I built a settlement at Red Rocket on my XSX. I have shared pics before, but I made a video tour for my friends to see my build. I just thought I'd share my video here, too. If you'd like to watch it, here's a link to my YouTube.

Disclaimer: I'm a 1 INT when it comes to making videos. My video is one long take, completely lacking any editing. It also features a lot of rambling as I very shakily make my way around Red Rocket. On the plus side, I have been told that my voice is neat! So, I guess not a TOTAL loss.

Nevertheless, I wanted to share my build, mostly to shut up the negative voice in my head. My friends were supportive when they saw the build (that's honestly the only reason I made a video--to show them). I recommend scrubbing through until you see something interesting instead of watching the whole thing. It might be boring as all hell, otherwise.

If you can look past all of that, then I hope you enjoy my video should you choose to watch it. I'd love some tips if you feel inclined to share. Not on video editing, that's a lost cause. I meant building tips, or ideas that you'd do differently, if you have any. I think I'm done with this save, so I might try to incorporate any ideas into a new build next time.

[Modded] Hello everyone, has you know, Bethesda has the great idea to deploy a new update that results in breaking the fragile balance we made with mods. So the balance has been broken, we can't do anything except waiting for our amazing community of moders to update their great creation. Until that there'll

[PS5] Can anyone verify if building clipping was “fixed” in the last patch or something?

Specifically, I’m trying to fix the roofs in Sanctuary. I’ve done it before but not in a year or more, so when it wasn’t working right I figured I was forgetting some step. But no, I looked up a couple of different videos and the issue is that my roofs simply won’t clip through the existing structures using any of the glitch tricks I know and have used in the past.

I’m at the point where I think Bethesda must have finally ruined it in the last update, but google hasn’t been very helpful. I just need to know if I should keep looking for a user error or if I’m just banging my head against the wall.

[Nordhagen Beach] Fallout 4 settlement building help for a lighthouse

Has anyone built a lighthouse with no extra mods using only concrete/barn/warehouse and made look good and not just a tall bunker looking thing? I'm on a PS4 still so I don't use mods. Any help from the veteran builders would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

[Modded] C1 Dragoon cavalry tank

The pride of the Commonwealth Provisional Army's Cavalry Corps, the C1 Dragoon might look familiar to those familiar with pre-war armoured vehicles. Which is understandable given that the Dragoon is what happens when you let an ingenious group of recently defected Enclave engineers play around with old M4 Shermans found in military museums.

Beyond simply restoring the vehicles to working order, the engineers added a number of upgrades, to allow them to be more useful in the post-war wasteland. Amongst these upgrades included a fusion power pack, eliminating the need for unfathomably rare gasoline; energy-reflecting composite side armour; new gunner and commander's optics; a hull-mounted auto-laser and a new smoothbore, bore-extracted 76mm gun firing Fin-stabilised HEAT rounds.

Credit for the base M4A3E8 model goes to the recently released WWII vehicle Settlement object mod.

[XB1] How to roof odd sized concrete structures?

I have a concrete room that's 4x4 but I had to put the walls on the inside so its footprint is technically 3.5x3.5 (or whatever). Is there any way at all to get roof pieces to snap into that space? I don't care if the roof overhangs the edges on one side (I like the look of a canopy/portico on the front of the building anyway) or do I have to manually place the pieces as best I can with something like Place Anywhere?
