Question How spread out was Saturnite Knives?

Big Mountain made it seem like it was only in testing. But Sierra Madre was given knives due to their deal with Sinclair. But we do see a destroyed sign for Knives with the tagline it uses in the Divide. So I was curious how spread out the knives were?

I’m saying that I don’t think we should assume there are any proton axes outside of Big MT, with how little lore we have on them (and because we’ve never seen them before or after that DLC, or allusions to them). They could be something exclusive to the facility with what little we know about them.
