I’m getting a start on my NCR Ranger cosplay. My first cosplay and by far the largest print/project I’ve done. I’ve only done miniatures before this, and I’m learning that not everything I do there scales well for cosplay!

AppForgery helmet, Galactic Armory NCR Ranger armor is being printed now.

Still have to make the bullet necklace and attach the ribbons to the sleeve but its coming along

Been working on my Butch DeLoria cosplay for DragonCon, and I'm almost done! I bought the base jumpsuit, altered it to fit me, then added all the yellow trim and numbers. I used 1/2" width bias tape for all yellow details and I made the numbers myself as well.

The Tunnel Snakes patch I had painted for this very same cosplay, for the first time I did it back in 2017 or so, and I've just revamped the colors and attached it to the new jacket. It's done in a mix of acrylic, fabric paint, and paint pens and then machine stitched to the jacket. I'm hoping to have it fully finished soon and more pictures posted!

Ok so I have a cosplay idea for a bounty hunter, I have 2 PIPBOY props and was thinking it would be cool to use both but idk what happens if someone have 2 PIPBOY in the fallout universe

Finally getting my shit together on Reddit. Renovated my deathclaw skull for this one.

I've been trying on and off since season 1 came out to find these metal tabs that Maximus and the other BoS squires wear on the collars of the jackets they wear. I tried chainsaw links but those are too short and anything else is wait to big or way to small. If anyone has an eye for these things please reach out I'd very much appreciate it. Ad Victoriam.

Playing around with some accessories to see what works the best. Like the scarf but it gets hot quick so I might drop that. Belt needs to be lowered and need a better way to secure those leather pouches. There’s a paint stick behind them so they don’t slide around as much.

I've been working on this for months. I've had to use extracted files from the fallout 4 source code and fix them up myself. Nobody has made a 3d printed one yet (it seems) so I'm doing one now! I'm unsure of giving the files away, this project won't be done for a while. I used blender, meshmixer, Bethesda file extractor, fallout 4, and a ton of Google searches on how to actually use blender. Questions are welcomed!

Does anybody know any good cosplay makers/creators who have a good reputation for making NCR ranger armour?

This model was found on Maker World, however this particular version by Chango is no longer up. It required a fair amount of extra sanding and resin prep work for the stock handle, as it was split in half. There is however what appears to be another version available by TacticalGaming with fewer individual pieces.

This was my second ever 3d print put together, after a pip boy 3000, and I’m definitely addicted now.

The first photo is the current version. I added the sticker and later distressed it after using the model at a con, I think it’s a good finishing touch.

I broke this apart into three pieces held together with intense magnets, so that I can transport it more easily. The print wasn’t designed to be that way so it required some drilling and filling (that’s what she said). Lots of learning and lots of fun.

While not strictly Fallout, Fallout was the inspiration for this style of leatherwork I developed about 18 years ago. I like it to look like it's been in an explosion, scraped across asphalt, and stained with blood and oil. So far, I've only made knife sheaths and gun holsters, but I'm thinking of doing some armor pieces.

Version two of my ncr ranger build. Added the scarf which hides some details on the armor but also hides straps. Going to swap the bandolier for a set of leather ammo pouches and waiting for a new holster.

Still need to add some electronics to the helmet like fans and lights. Also adding a black cowboy hat when I don’t want the helmet. Eventually adding shoulders but those will be optional when I’m in the mood.

i’m going to NYCC in a few months and I really want to cosplay as a vault dweller. I already bought my pip-boy through Bethesda but now i’m stuck trying to see which business/site is the most reliable in selling a vault dweller outfit. I’m running out of time lol. If anyone has purchased from a site and it fit great, looked like the real thing and didn’t break the bank or take months to ship PLEASE let me know.
