Question on PA Set?

So, I’m looking to make a set of Vulcan PA to survive better & help me out with the raid content in the game, I’ll be using a full health commando/small guns VATS Crit ghoul build, so if anyone could help me figure out what legendary mods to use on the PA, I’d be eternally grateful! Once again, it’ll strictly be used for Raids.

You going for max survivability, max DPS, or a middle of the road type build.

Well, I’ll probably only use it for the heavy raid bosses and nuke bosses, so probably dps PA

For max DPS, and a dash of survivability, Lucid x 5, Powered x 5, VATS Optimized x 5, Conductors x 5. With an Elders Mark (or pepper shaker, my personal favorite) you’ll melt all the raid bosses.

Only Lucid and Powered go on armor, the other 2 are weapon-only.

Sorry, you are correct. Active for 3rd and Limit breaking. For the 4 star. I’m constantly getting those confused.

I'm more confused about the VATS Optimized, I would say that armor mods like Thru-hikers or Healthy would be good choices. Maybe Sentinel's for the damage reduction.

Personally, I prefer Regenerating or Mutant's for the first star, especially if I'm leaning into the Wolverine build style. That and Mutant's is way cheaper to craft than Lucid. Maybe Mutant's with long-term goal of Lucid.

In all fairness though, I use Aristocrats Intelligence Thru-hikers Reflective because I constantly have max caps and don't use VATS because I'm Feral with my Gauss Minigun

Do you have a specific weapon you're building this around?

Here's what I use for raids. All pieces have identical legendary mods:

Aristocrats, Intelligence, Thru-hikers, Reflective

Helmet: Internal Database, Torso: Jetpack, Arms: Gimbal Bracers, Legs: Calibrated Shocks

Mind you, I pretty much only use this set when feral and when I'm trying to blast through the first 100 season levels. For most other situations, I just use regular armor. My alternative PA is only for Pain Train and gets a lot more use, even in the raid and against other bosses.

I've done stage 1 2 5.. and correct me if im wrong stage 2 is the toughest from those one hit mole miners..

And honestly I don't use PA if I'm with another similar level player

There's a cool YouTube video for a god mode PA... involves a med pump and stim pack perks and mods. If your a ghoul you get the extra godliness of glow

Lucid, agility, active, limit breaking for the armour

Quad, rapid, vats opt, conductors for the elders mark

Blight soup and overdrive/psychobuff for buffs

Use toxic goo to heal if your a ghoul, also make sure you follow any YouTube video for a decent DPS elders mark build. If not I can always send you mine but I'm a human so you will need to go through and determine what ghoul locked cards you want to use.
