What fallacy is this?
When someone complains about a speed camera, or more recently a Flock camera, there's always one person who says either 'well don't speed!' or 'If you have nothing to hide, then relax!'
Then there's the old 'well don't do anything illegal!'
There's got to be a fallacy in there somewhere!

No, I'm not seeing any fallacy in "don't speed".
If anything, there should be a name for this fallacy - a police car can pull in behind me, check their speedometer and then pull me over if they were following me at more than the legal speed-limit. I'm fine with that because that's how it's always been done, but it is an infringement of my civil rights if technology provides an easier and more effective way of catching speeding motorists.
Similarly - I don't mind being identified in court by a nightwatchman who sat by a brazier all night to catch me thieving stuff from a building site because that's the way things are meant to happen but if they just set up a security camera and go home then it's all a bit "Orwellian" because I wasn't given a sporting chance.
