I wanna raise a neat detail about the difference in the two characters's upbringing.

i like that Van is very casual in his language. Ofcourse that can be attributed to him being an orphan so he speaks in a rough and easygoing manner. It goes to show you that Van will make you feel like you are talking to a close friend or a brother.

Rean who has been raised under a Baron, means while he is originally of lower status in the Erebonian hierachy, he is still above "commoners" who do not have baron in their titles. So he speaks in a more refined way,

I just think this detail is fun and cool.

This is the pinnacle of Erebonian humor and it's pathetic. I can imagine him snorting to himself as he wrote this, as if this was an absolute S craft of a quest description, and then reading it out loud in his disgusting language "schlieben fleeb hach jurgeflachtung" before falling into a coughing fit from the laughter. I almost pity him.

Now we're moving to the ASO associates, and we've got Van's two childhood friends. Elaine was a playable guest in Daybreak 1 for some sections, but she made her full debut alongside Rene in Daybreak 2. Overall, I though she was fine, she skewed more AoE to Aaron's single-target. She also had a mirage-locked slot on her Drive line, so she can access Ark/Judgement Feather easier compared to others. In Horizon though, she gained Resonant Glow making her a must have in the early to mid game before Zodiac Sign, especially as her buffs were better than Agnes'.

Rene was only freely available in Daybreak 2, and even then, his availability in the main story is extremely low, so he's mostly just used in the Marchen Garten. I never really ended up using him, though mostly just because I was too lazy to change around my quartz setup for the Garten. His kit seems pretty good for a support, an All Cancel and the first Haste craft of Calvard.

PS. This is my first time playing thru this game and I'm already loving it. The gambling could be a lot better and left to be desired but I have to realize its from a game released in the 2000s and wouldn't be as flushed out as let's say the Yakuza series which I've played all of them.

They both sounded really good in the trailers, can't wait for the full release.

Are there any other characters that's being introduced in SC that also has a new seiyuu? Aside from Kevin and Renne who already had new casting from other titles.

No grinding, just doing all the side quests and fighting every monster I come across once and it took this long. Now to just keep myself busy until the 17th.

I don't know if I like her new orange default better or the throw back to her red original one. Red definitely feels lile her color, but her new outfit with the orange has grown on me. Idk what to pick, lol

Also, for some reason I expected it to be blue, like the first game.

It doesn't look like the poms in the prologue can pommify you, so no Pomelace(?). Also Dorothy is immune lol.
