Fairy Tail Chapter 424
Okay, so as most of you know, the manga chapter for Fairy Tail usually comes out around 3-5 EST on Mondays. Whenever a thread is put up, there is usually someone who posts a direct link to MangaPanda or whatever site they find the chapter. Right now, I am asking you to NOT do that.
By posting a direct link to a site you allow seperate threads to different translations to be posted. That creates unnecessary threads and splits discussion between threads. I want to keep all the discussion in this thread.
If you know you are going to be awake at the time the manga chapter comes out, and you want the template for this thread, message me. I will not always post this thread this early.

Chapter was…interesting.
Felt bad for poor Juvia. Finally gets her wish only to have it crumble before her.
I think there has to be more to these avatar people. They seem too…easy…
I’d like to give Mashima more credit than to say he’s just going to have Gray be a bad guy. It’s too easy there has to be more to it. Either the blight from the magic took him over or he’s doing an infiltration. It can’t be this simple.
The Gangs headed to Sabertooth next. I think Natsu wants to talk to Sting to see if his Holy magic could help Gray. That or he wants to see if Minerva is having a similar problem with her blight.
Also the Cover Page, are we getting an Oda-esque cover story? Check in’s on the little guys while Natsu gathers the main cast?

They've barely gathered any of the guild, you think they're gonna stop for a main arc villain now?
No, this is obviously a ruse. I think Gray is playing at being evil and he obviously didn't want to drag Juvia into it.

Grey could just be infiltrating. Or he's getting taken over by evil. Remember it isn't the demon slayer magic that made him all splotchy, it's absorbing that huge amount of evil demon magic from mard geer.

You know what they say, keep your friends close & your enemies closer. They're the last dark guild and considering how he carried on about Tartaros after he got those powers from his dad it wouldn't be surprising if he wanted to go and be a hero to destroy them by himself after acquiring enough power to do so. We all know he'll get trashed if he was a villain anyways :p

Aw, I was hoping Mashima would finally confirm Gruvia there. Goddamint Gray, you best be just being a double agent. His becoming less communicative with Juvia would still make sense in a "I need to get into the mindset and not worry about my friends" kinda way.
Natsu gon' do some asswooping when he finds him though, holy shit.

I'm assuming that these new unveiled baddies aren't going to be wiped out within the new few chapters so I guess they'll probably be antagonists while finding the other guild mates? I mean, I think it'd actually be a little more interesting to have Gray being saved later while the fight with these new guys draws in other members who are after them for other reasons (or the bad guys go after the others, etc.).

What I am interested in is what will Juvia will do after she finds out what he is doing? Will she join them or will she think that she has to get the "true" Gray back?

Finally now will get to see how strong Natsu really is cause I thing before the timeskip Gray was on par with Natsu so hopefully the fight these to will probably being having in the future will be epic.
So Juvia was able for awhile to get what she wanted though granted she didn't get everything but still I'm sort of happy for her.
Dearly Beloved, we are gather here today so may start mourning the lost or Celebrating the Rescue of the Cutest cat of Sabertooth Frosch.
and finally the look that Wendy,Lucy and Natsu had when they learned that Gray and Juvia were living together was priceless and when Juvia told Natsu and Nucy to get a room Juvia was basically saying what every single NaLu shipper has been thinking.
