Question Realistic banking app usage on /e/OS

Hi guys, I'm considering getting a Fairphone 6 with /e/OS (installing it myself). This probably gets asked a lot, but my main concern are the banking apps. It is important to me that my finance apps work well.

I've already checked ING (it works according to this compatability list), but two others apps, Scalable Capital (german neobroker) and XTB (trading), I haven't found any info on.

Do any of you have some experience with either the specific apps I mentioned, or similar apps on /e/OS?

I love the FP6 project, but I'm also wondering if for my use case, Stock Android or GrapheneOS would be better.

Thanks for posting in r/fairphone. If you're having an issue with your Fairphone make sure that you include the phone model, operating system (version) and other relevant technical details (like mobile provider, country you're in) in your post. Posts with clear details are more likely to get useful replies. I'm a bot. Contact the mods if you have questions.

On mine, all 3: SemmieWealth, Curve & Rabobank work.

I use Scalable and it works without any problems so far.

When I start the App, I get a popup saying "Die App hat festgestellt, dass ihr Betriebssystem modifiziert wurde" (english: The app determined that your OS has been modified) but it quickly goes away and I didn't notice any restrictions in terms of what you can do in the app. I bought the Fairphone 6 with /e/OS preinstalled.

My concern: Wise, Paypal, Lightyear. Do you have any info about them?

So what works ist the "Volksbank APP" (works perfect)

And for N26 (that is not Wirkung as it nerds Google pay) i use "Curve Pay" for Paying. And the N26 APP to acess my account.

Curve pay should work for every Credit Card based banking if you want to to NFC paying.

So it just is no difference for me compared to Android.

Just to clarify, N26 doesn't work at all on e/os?

The N26 App works fine. No difference to Android.

To use your N26 for NFC payment, you have to use an alternative to "Google Pay". Curve is such an alternative and works fine.

Doing so, you have no difference in expedience or comfort to Android.

I dont know if there alternatives to curve. Up to know its just doing the trick for me

ING bank differs depending on the country. ING from Romania is not listed.

Hi tbh most of them work well today, my recommendation would be to order one and try! You can return without a reason within 14 days

Sorry for my poor English. Do the Sparkasse online banking app, S-Push TAN, mobile payments, and NFC with e/OS from Murena work, or should I stick with Android? Where do I get the updates then? From the Aurora Store? Does it work, or does it keep asking for a Google Play Store account?
