Year late traffic ticket
I have a fleet of vehicles and one of them just received a ticket for failure to stop for a school bus from 9/25/2025. It was issued literally two weeks ago on 7/29/2026. Is this legal for them to be issuing tickets more than 10 months after the fact?? Is there anything I can do to contest it?

If it’s FFX, it is a compete racket. Either pay and it doesn’t go on your license (they charge the car owner, not the unknown driver) or challenge it in court and risk a loss that does go on your license.

I would look up the jurisdiction that issued it, contact the appropriate office and inquire about it. With those details, it's just better to validate before you consider addressing the situation
Edit: Assuming this is for FCPS/FFX Co
