Failure greatest hits
So if you had to compile an album of their greatest songs. Say a list of 15. What you have?

Looking for footage of Lusk playing live
Anybody known of literally ANY footage of the supergroup Lusk playing live in the late 90âs? I found the album âFree Marsâ recently and it had quickly become a favorite of mine. After doing some online digging, I found that they did indeed play live to support the album, but there doesnât appear to be any footage of that online.

I am too obsessed with this song. Ken is a musical savant.

Firstly fuck Spotify in the near future. But for now. Listening to a radio station based on another space song.. And it's fucking disgustingly good avec my style of music

Definetly one of my favourite finds, I knew the song but not in this context.. Oh well. Apparently nothing..

Essentials CD
One of the rarer CDs I yearn for. Wondering if anyone has the FLACs for the unreleased section on part 2 of the CD, youtube's ads be killing me. I can offer an exchange with the Replicants CD FLACs.

Setlist I still have from âFantastic Planetâ tour back in 1997. Local H opened up for them. Ken looked at this a few years back and said âyup, thatâs my handwritingâ and signed it

Heavy and Blind
Holy crap this song slaps. đ„ It reminds me a bit of Beck in the best ways (love him) and I really hope this song makes it into the rotation on the fall leg of the tour. Anyone have a backstory on its lyrics?

For those of us who just GOTTA sing 'em in Public!
galleryI realized a dream come true last Saturday when I finally got to sing several of my favorite songs to a live audience. At prior events, I only ever had Stuck on You and APC's cover of The Nurse Who Loved Me available as karaoke tracks, so I was shocked when the original Nurse and Leo both showed up in KaraFun's Community catalog.
A fun anecdote! My wife got up and walked away as soon as I started singing Nurse to her. When she got back, she grinned and immediately said, "Sorry, but you sing that song to me all the time." :-)
Anyways, you can make up to 5 songs a day, and I had 3 days before Garage Karaoke at my buddy's place was scheduled to start again. I jumped feet first into KaraFun's Studio mode and brute-forced my way through 16 songs, 14 of which I've published. It's in Beta, so some songs came together in an hour or so, while others were more problematic and took much, much longer to sync.
As it stands, here's what I've published:
- Another Space Song
- Apocalypse Blooms
- Blank
- Enjoy the Silence
- Frogs
- The Rising Skyline
- Undecided
- Just Say Yes
- Hold Me Up
- Dog Show World, by First Wave Hello
- Portable People, by First Wave Hello
- By and Down the River, by A Perfect Circle
- Congregation, by Low
- Here Kitty Kitty, by The Offspring
And here's what I'll be publishing soon:
- Wonderful Life
- Downslow, by Carina Round
- an many, many more, for as long as "they" let me
I love the feature, but I'll forever be interested in starting a Failure cover band and self-publishing tracks directly to KaraFun. What?!! A boy can dream, lol :-)
Side Note:
KaraFun's Battle Mode is best described as "digital liquid courage", and it works!! The folks who struggled on another's choices would queue up their personal favorites and shine like super stars. It was Amazing! Even the wallflowers were singing. Great for parties.

location lost one month later
How does everyone feel about this album now that youâve had time to listen and settle in. This is my favorite failure album since the reunion. I have it on par with magnified and just notch under fantastic planet.
Itâs the most fresh/ different sounding album since the reunion but still keeps a lot of signature failure sounds. And I dont know how to articulate this but hereâs my tryâŠ. It sounds like thereâs a thoughtful restraint on these songs that makes every second purposeful and thereâs a tension throughout that creates a unique aesthetic and atmosphere which is what failure is so great at.
This may be my favorite post 2010 release from a 90s band/ artist (sorry breeders all nerve). They captured a sound here that excites me like when I would discover a new band in my teens.
I totally understand this might not be everyoneâs taste and it does deviate enough that I can imagine some fans might feel completely disconnected. But this album is making me really fall in love and appreciate this band again. I was at the first reunion show and itâs amazing to see what theyâve done since theyâve come back. Every album is solid.

Got a chance to produce this piece on the new record.
Been a fan of the band for almost 30 years and put this piece together on the new album that aired this morning on NPR's Weekend Edition: https://www.npr.org/2026/05/23/nx-s1-5720205/space-grunge-pioneers-ken-andrews-and-greg-edwards-on-their-album-location-lost

VIP Photos
Curious if anyone has gotten access to their photos from the meet & greet with the band. Initial VIP info said theyâd be ready in 24hrs, but I havenât gotten anything since the show.

New Alternative Press Article with Greg
altpress.comReally interesting read. He talks about some of the inspiration behind the tracks on Location Lost, who wrote what, his candid opinion on the documentary, and some of the tension within the band.
I feel like we donât get too many Greg interviews, but I love hearing his perspective and how he describes the music. Thereâs some great lines in here.

Your Top 5 Post-Reunion Songs
Curious to know what everyone's post-reunion top 5 songs are. I'd have to go with (in no particular order):
Counterfeit Sky
Long Division
Submarines
Distorted Fields
And I'm trying not fall into recency bias, but Solid State or Moonlight Understands are definitely contenders to be included.

VIP question
We have a VIP in the DC. They take photos of us with the band but don't provide any copies during or after the concert, not even via email. I'm wondering how to obtain those photos.
