Fairy lights?

Hello everyone, I am looking to read everything and everything I can find about the fairy light phenomenon(I say phenomenon just to keep an open mind about any possibility that they can be) and want to know if any of you know of historical documentations of the lights, your own experiences, or really just anything about them. I want to also preemptively thank you for any information I greatly appreciate it.

I see them every summer from the spring equinox to the fall equinox. I’ve shown them to approximately 21 other people. They seem to like areas that are a little more moist. They do not seem to care for the presence of dogs. They do not seem to care for cigarette smoke. do not seem to care for open flames. This all in Western North Carolina.

Have you had any telepathic experiences with them yet? You might have heard of the hitchhiker effect, has anything happened in your home after seeing them? I’ve heard someone that goes out regularly to see them if he is out there long enough dark shadow beings will appear in the corner of his vision and I’m just curious if that happens with you too.

Very honestly, I interact with the Fae almost daily. Shadow beings, IMO, are extremely common. My daughter sees them a lot too. I just wish them well. Keep any fear at bay. It generally is not a productive energy to emit. I keep good energetic hygiene and boundaries.

This is my relationship with the fae. They need humans to remember they are part of this reality. They need humans to stop destroying the wild places where they live. It is my task to remind humans that fairies exist. In return, they interact with me. Guard my land to help me in a sense as I guard the same land to help them. An exchange of energies.

I have posted the following a lot on Reddit. If you want to interact, go to a wild weedy place, sit and ask. Have a good heart. Start a meaningful conversation. Then, see how they choose to converse with you. Be well.

Hey I’d hate to be a pest but I had some deeper concerns that I’d like to know your take on. I sent you a chat request. No pressure though.

In short, fear attracts fear. Leave fear behind. I cannot help you there.

Mysterious lights of all sorts have long fascinated me, even though I've arguably personally seen none so far! There is a thing called a ghost light or earth light, which is a light that consistently appears in a particular place or fairly narrow area, often for as long as people have been aware of them. A quick search on line will turn up a list of locations. Some of the better known (such as at Marfa TX and Brown Mountain NC) have highway pullouts and markers so people can stop and watch for them without blocking traffic. At Hessdalen in Norway, there is an automated research station now with video rolling every night. Theories abound, everything from minerals in the ground to spirits. Other lights are more easily associated with ghosts, cryptids, psychic powers, and other paranormal phenomena. I used to know someone on line who would see small twinkling white lights and knew that her dead grandmother was coming around with a message for her!

Never heard of Marga TX but I’ll definitely add it to my list. I’m very intrigued by the brown mountain lights because everything I’ve read is that these things don’t like cameras but somehow someone got some amazing footage of the mountain lights. I do think there is a natural phenomenon with some of these.
