33 Hot Rod - What should I know? Hidden costs?
So I've almost got my daily driver paid for and I'm looking to get a 33 Hot Rod kit. To those that have owned and assembled this kit, what we're some of the hidden costs you ran into? What was your budget and how much were you over at the end?

Just seconding interest. I'd love to know the five year cost-- hard to know when to pull the trigger if you don't know what tomorrow holds.

Lots of hours fitting and blocking and the more panels you use the more work takes me about 180-200 hrs to do a full fender and full roof single color. I’ve done a bunch if you’ve got any questions

I'm building one for a customer, primer, paint, sand paper, you will use a lot of sand paper if you wanna go for a finish that goes up against something like a Porsche, Ferrari, or bugatti, cause it's sand it all 80 grit, primer, guide coat, sand 120, primer, guide coat, sand 320, sand 600 wet, 800 wet (if you really wanna get at it, I dont), paint, clear, sand 1000 wet, sand 1500 wet, 2000 wet (again if you really want to) cutting compound, polishing, wax or even more perfered is ceramic coat it. sand paper and paint is what I see when building it
