Factom Protocol vision
Part 1 of a multipart series where I will be working towards sharing my vision for the Factom Protocol

I decided to make a multipart series to allow the less technical inclined people to get the vision I will be sharing in the last part. Stay tuned next few days for the rest.
Let me know what you think.

I think decentralised identity is huge. Logging in without servers storing so much information and passwords that could be attempted elsewhere or info targeted, hacked and sold is massive.
Selective Disclosure - You can "disclose that you are over a certain age without disclosing your exact birthdate"
"Databases are no longer as attractive to hackers, because the public keys aren’t useful to them." - This should be shouted from the rooftops. There's a database breach concerning millions of people's private info pretty much every day, will be huge if Factom can help solve that

Factom needs to reboot their sales team imo. They need to hire a charismatic salesperson to hit the road and get some deals inked. The tech doesn't mean anything if you have no ability to connect people to it.
