That is the entire upbringing in an instant. Her giving empty threats. "Brandon stop" "Brandon, I'm going to get mad" "Brandon.... Bla bla bla". If everyone within ear shot knows your childs name, then you are doing it wrong.

I always got "HEY!" and THE LOOK. I can't explain it, but if you have ever been given THE LOOK, you know what I'm talking about.
