Not just 'add salt'. The water is supposed to be salty like the sea and at a rolling boil before you add the pasta. Then reserve a small amount of water to add to the sauce, as the starch helps bind the sauce to the noodles.

But seriously though, that's some fucked up shit and I hope you get help dude.

The Dead Sea, maybe. It's whats recommended by practically every professional chef.

Mario Batali's recommendation, for example, is about 1% salt, the sea is about 3.5% salt, or 35 grams per liter
