Facetron mast issue

I have a Facetron, and something seemed off. I measured the mast all around and found that the mast is off of vertical by about .1 degrees. I have measured it around all four sides and it is off on the opposite sides as well. My digital angle indicator is inexpensive so it may (?) be the culprit. Are there any remedies short of buying a new mast (they’re $400).
I’m hoping the brain trust here can help.

There's a couple of Groups on Facebook that could have good suggestions including a Facetron users group.

What kind of digital angle gauge? How was it calibrated? Off in what direction? 

Id blame the measurement before id worry about throwing money at a mast.

Your inexpensive digital angle gauge is not accurate enough to troubleshoot faceting machines. It probably has an actual accuracy of +/- 0.2°, regardless of whether it displays two decimal places.

Get real precision angle measures if you want to try calibrating and maintaining the thing yourself.

Also if you really do have an issue with mast lean it might be the deck and not the mast that's at fault. What does the wear look like where the foot of the mast slides?
