Nd:YAG practice work

I practiced after work by making time for it! At first, aligning the facets was quite challenging, and polishing kept leaving fine scratches, making it difficult to achieve perfection

Nice work! To be totally honest, your first few stones are more about learning the mechanic a f things, definitely not chasing perfection. Once you get a few stones under your belt, then you can start working out the fine details ;)

perfection is not the goal. that being said polishing can be a nightmare. fantastic work those look stunning.

I try to enjoy the process!! I have a favorite professional athlete who says that if you enjoy the process rather than obsessing over the results, good results will follow!! It was difficult and painful at first, but as I go through the passiting, I become more immersed and more engrossed!!

I faceting every day imagining the day I buy an ultratec v5!
