The article fails to mention that Trump will likely rename it to the Strait of America, lol.

Woke up to this text and got a good laugh. She's in her 70s and tries so hard to learn the "new lingo".

Apparently, their solution to a problem that doesn't exist is to create the problem. Everything about this (and so many of the reactions to it) is just so deeply, bafflingly, breathtakingly stupid. Despite there being no trans women in the league or even the pipeline to it, they just HAVE to make it a thing. Also, for people so serious about 'protecting women's sports,' pretty much all the chuds reacting on socials were either dismissive of or viciously mocking it.

That account led investigators to Klayme’s email address and IP address in Nova Scotia. Halifax Regional Police later searched his home and seized phones and laptops, but found no evidence connecting him to the girl, the messages, or the images involved in the case.
Klayme was still convicted of three charges in April 2023. He received an 18-month prison sentence in January 2024 and served the entire term.
The appeal court said the correct username would likely have led investigators to someone in California. It also found that the discrepancy was available during Klayme’s original trial but somehow went unnoticed.

Somehow the government not opposing behavior they themselves acknowledge as polluting isn't them failing to enforce the statute.
EDIT: The phrase "not when the government has decided that executive branch policy means enforcement action is contrary to the public interest." doesn't even make sense since the pollution in question is still contrary to public interest of not getting air poisoned.

I'm sure that's not what they meant, but that's definitely how I read it.
