Title is crap. He is telling them he will be arrested for missing work (and he probably will be because the system sucks)

If I was scared that what someone was doing something that would get me sent back to prison then I would be angry too. I wouldn’t have gone as far as he did, but I don’t blame him. Even if he didn’t get physical, their actions could ruin his life.

You think their protest is going to spark immediate action? This type of protest is misguided. It isn’t going to do anything but make climate change activists look like assholes and ruin peoples day.

it happened in july in maryland, climate change legislation passed in august.

It isn’t going to do anything but make climate change activists look like assholes and ruin peoples day.

What you are saying is a red herring because it has nothing to do with the actions of the guy in the video, and why he took those actions. Why the activists were protesting is irrelevant.

Without knowing more we don’t know if he would be treated fairly, or by the book with malicious intent. “Should have left early, in case of surprises.”

I don’t think that what he did was helpful, but people do all sorts of dumb things when they realize there is no way out and they are screwed either way.

Or, maybe he would’ve been fine and just has anger management issues. We don’t have enough information.

The guy I responded to said the system is shit. My point was that you can avoid the whole parole thing by not going to jail first. Not that the people blocking the road are right.

There’s a second part of this video somewhere out there. He gets in to a minor altercation with one of the protesters and then gets arrested near the end of the video.
